ARC August 2015-Mid month update

arc august

Hosted by Shelly at Read, Sleep, Repeat

So I am behind on my reading AND posting!  Yikes!

So far I have completed reading:
The JumbiesBehind Story (Volume #1)Resident Evil - Biohazard: Marhawa Desire #5Naoki Urasawa's Monster, Volume 5 (Naoki Urasawa's Monster: Kanzenban, #5)
2 books behind to make minimum goal, but....

I am working on:
So Cute It Hurts!!, Vol. 2Black MoonRogue (Talon #2)Finding Emma (Finding Emma, #1)

I have reviewed:
Office Toy (Office Toy, #1)The Skin MapTwisted Dark, Volume 1Twisted Dark, Volume 2Twisted Dark, Volume 3Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2)Cruel Beauty
At least 3 posted reviews behind...

So not where I wanted to be, but I have made progress against my Arc stacks and lists!  Part of my problem is that this month has a huge once a year event on the reading group I am most active with and the books I have to review don't match the many books they are reading.  So I am attempting to balance my involvement!

Upcoming reading possibilities:

Far Far AwayGolden Son (Red Rising Trilogy, #2)AwakeThe Choosing (Seer, #1)

  6. Great list! I liked Rogue by Julie Kagawa, but I enjoyed her dystopian vampire series more, and I thought her Iron Fey series had stronger world-building, but I did read those all together (except for the final one), so that could be the difference. Looking forward to reading Cruel Beauty Rosamund Hodge and The Skin Map soon!

  7. I am sooo far behind on my reading and reviews. My bookshelf headboard is full so now I'm piling books on top. And yet, I can't get enough. There's nothing like a shiny new book or box of books ;)

  8. Next year I've really got to participate in this. Have so many ARCs from BEA 2014 or before that I didn't get to. Good luck!
