Top Ten Tuesdays 6

Hosted by Broke and Bookish

The Topic for This week:
Top Ten Books I Wish Could Have Had Sequels

This is short.  There aren't too many books that I wish has sequels.  Most I read do.  Now if it was what series' do I wish were longer, that would be another story.  Oh well, maybe a future top ten?  So here are the few I could think of.  I am likely missing some but I cannot think of them right now.  No particular order here.
The Acadian Secret by Tammy Lowe

I actually just finished this but I wanted more of the situation between two characters. There is easily room here for another adventure.

Between Shades of Gray

I know this story had an end but I wanted more! I wanted to see how she reconnects with others, what happens when they go home. While I may know the facts, I want more of Lina’s story.

Maid in Heaven

This was just plain fun. I would have loved to see a bit more between them. Even just 1 more volume...

Across Five Aprils

I wanted to know what happens to Jethro and his father after the war settles more. What does he grow up to be? What happens to his brothers? How did the war change everyone?

Okay, I am stopping.  I have spent over an hour on this and this is all that came to mind.  Most books I read are already part of a series, or the author plans to make it a sequel.  Oh well.  Sorry I don't have much to share this week.  Hopefully I will find some cool books I should be more aware of on your blogs. :)

Just a reminder-GIVEAWAYS in the upper right.
Several are expiring soon!  Don't miss your chance!

  1. I really struggled with this one too, I haven't even posted it yet as I still only have 3 books on my list!

    1. Yeah, I almost didn't post myself but I put it too much time to post nothing.

    1. Yea, mostly uncommon books. Even these were mostly a stretch.

    1. I almost threw in sequels. THEN I could have had ten.

  4. This was a tough topic this week since most of the books I read are part of a series. So we ended up tweaking the topic a bit. ~Pam

  5. This was a really difficult topic, because of the overabundance of stuff these days that comes as part of a trilogy/series/saga.

    Here's my TTT.

    1. It was. Most things I read are either series' or mysteries/horror novels that have a solid end. Very tricky week.
