Stacking the Shelves 11

STSmall_thumb[2]
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, every Weekend. This is to share books i have acquired from various sources.  Physical books & ebooks both are welcome. If its something being sent to me by mail, I will not mention it until I actually receive it.

So I had a goal of only 10 books this week....But only in physical books I was sent that I won or requested prior to this week!  So I excuse myself mostly.  I did pretty good.  Only over by a few.

I have created my first vlog!  Sorry if it is horrible.  But It is the first time in front of a video camera for me since I was a child.   Yes it is a regular video  camera, my wonderful guy was willing to hold.  I don't have a cam for my computer yet.  I got nervous and ended a bit abruptly, so I deeply apologize for that.  Anyways, I would love to know what you think.  Do you prefer just pictures and links or do you like the video for physical books I received.

Links are below the video.  Video does not include ebooks.  Those are shown below as well.

Mentioned in the Video:

Grace by Marilla Bonelli (Amazon
This was from Momma Says Read

The Flame in the Mist by Kit Grindstaff (Amazon)
These were from the Mod Podge Bookshelf

Star Wars-X:Wing-Isard's Revenge by Michael A Stackpole (Amazon)
Star Wars- Clone Wars-The Lost Legion by Tracey West (Amazon
  Swapped on bookmooch.com

+other misc goodies

And that is it!  For me, this was a very well behaved week, giving me time to focus more on reading, less on collecting!  Mind you, I get to go shopping next week so I dont think my good streak will hold.

Again, let me know if you prefer pictures or vlog post style please.

Also, be sure to check out the giveaway I am running. It was very last minute so nothing fancy but still.

I am also doing a special 3 month blogversary giveaway mid-week so be sure to come back soon!  Lots of giveaways end of June-July so keep an eye out!

    1. No feeling like a loser. All through Dec-Feb the only books I got were library books. The reading is more important than the collecting :)

  22. Thank you so much for stopping by Bella's Shelf! Sorry it took a few days to get back to you. I LOVE LOVE hangin on Amazon and grabbing all of the awesome free books! I have had to move stuff to a cloud I got so many when I first got my Kindle Fire..lolz..
ALL of them look good. I am going to grab Zombie Games, Walker, Meant to Be, Ever Fall..lolz..There I go..
I followed you GFC & BlogLovin. I honestly prefer BL over GFC & Google Reader since its going the way of the dinosaurs soon :(
I moved to WP because of that reason actually.
You have a really cool site look too. I LOVE dragons.
Have a great week & dont be a stranger.

    1. Lol, it is easy to get carried away with the freebies, huh? i try to limit myself. Sometimes are better than others... Since i own a couple thousand books I still need to read I just remind myself of that before grabbing it. No point in adding books to my shelf if I never get to it. Sometimes it works, other times i still want the book. :)
Thanks for following. Glad you liked the site.
I look forward to our sharing of some hopefully great books between out blogs :)

  27. Hi, there!

Sorry for the late comment back....time is definitely NOT my friend! But I always try to return a comment when people visit my blog and leave their thoughts on one of my posts, so here I am!

You are SO freaking lucky!!! All those awesome books!! (Well, to be honest, I don't read e-books, but you're still a very lucky girl!!)

Right off the bat, I can tell you that I'm very interested in the "Dragon Badge" books, because I LOVE fantasy! I will look further into the others. LOVE those book covers!! I'm also going to investigate the e-books. Some of them just might be available in print, as well.

I like your vlog! Sure, you were a little nervous, but heck, this was your first time. I think vlogs are very entertaining for this kind of post. I don't dare do them myself, though. Too self-conscious....but I hope you continue to do them!!

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my STS post last Saturday!! :)

    1. Thanks for the return stop. I am always behind on comments so it is okay. We have to have lives away from blogging at some point. :)

I hope you can find some of these in print. I am more a print person, its just...free! Hard to refuse.

I am glad you liked the vlog. I probably won't do them weekly but I might do 1-2 a month.
