This weeks top 10 is to share the books we most want to read this summer.
There are so many on my to-read list. Please note, I kept to reading list to books I own or have access to. There are book coming out that I really want to read but I am not planning on reading them this summer due to time restraints and financial limits. So, these were 10 that I, for sure, plan to read this summer. Also, please note, these may not stay the top ten. I may think of another later but as of this moment, here they are.
It seems to be a Richelle Mead summer. After looking back, I realized 3/10 books are hers. Lucky lady!
This is my first time joining Top Ten Tuesdays! Thanks for stopping by. I would love to know what you think of these books. Also, feel free to let me know what tops your list right now. :)
That's great list, some of those books I also plan on reading. I've read all of Richelle's young adult series but I haven't tried any of her adult would you recommend them?
ReplyDelete-Mari @ The Sirenic Codex
The only one I read so far was Storm Born-Graphic Novel version. While it was adult content still a G.N. but I really liked it which is why I must read the actual novel it was based on. :)
DeleteOh, Catcher in the Rye. It's one of those books that people either love or hate. I want to reread it one more time just to see, but I might be in the dislike category.
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeful though, because I hated The Great Gatsby in high school, but loved it as an adult.
I missed most of the classic reads in school so I get to play catch-up. :) I hope I like it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteLove Richelle Mead. And yay for City of Ashes. Great list!
ReplyDeleteTTT
Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know
Yea, City of Ashes almost didn't make it as I have several books I need to read and that one is pure fun but I couldn't resist! :)
DeleteGameboard of the Gods is on my reading pile too although I have no idea when I'll get to them. Hope you enjoy all your summer reads :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! And whenever you get to Gameboard' I hope you like it!

DeleteI have Gameboard of the Gods on my tbr, but I'm a little scared to start on it because of the negative reviews I've been seeing... let's hope we fair better than the the others. Teehee!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT?
Janus @ The Blair Book Project
Yea, I am nervous for the same reasons but I have had it long enough and need to swallow those nerves and decide for myself. Thanks for stopping by. Sorry it took me awhile to stop back by yours until the other night.

DeleteAwesome list! I loved "The Golden Lily"! I cannot wait for the next book to come out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Yea one reason I don't want to keep pushing through. I hate waiting for the next book. I love Richelle Mead but she has her hands full with a few too many series' IMO. Thanks for the return stop! :)
DeleteYou've got a great list, I hope you manage to read all ten of them. I really enjoyed The Golden Lily, and Brisingr is a good read too - as it The Catcher in the Rye, though it does seem to split oppinion.
ReplyDeleteI better read all 10 or I will be quite mad at myself! :P Thanks!
DeleteLooks like a great list! Gameboard of the Gods is pretty awesome :) As is City of Ashes :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all of your books!
Cheers! Someone who likes Gameboard of the Gods! Most people don't seem as fond of that book. I hope I like it and I am glad you did. :)
DeleteOh, I loved Losing It! The cover is kinda awful, but the story is very adorable. I love the Bloodlines series, as well. Thanks for stopping by, earlier! :)
ReplyDeleteYea the cover for Losing It did nothing for me which is why it took me so long to get to it. But when I finally stopped and read about it, I was hooked. :)
DeleteI'm looking forward to reading The Summer I Became A Nerd too. I'm also in two minds whether or not I should start the Mortal Instruments series. Hope you enjoy your summer of reading also!
ReplyDeleteSo far I like the Mortal Instruments series but I probably should have waited, mainly because I am already in the middle of too many series'. Oh well, too late now. :)
DeleteI loved reading Losing It, The Summer I Became a Nerd and City of Ashes (I just finished Losing It a little over a week ago). Brisingr is very good as well. I have Warp also, but haven't gotten to it yet. It looks like you have a very ambitious reading list on your hands!

ReplyDeleteCity of Ashes is on my to-read list too! I just finished CIty of Bones (as in only an hour ago) and can't wait to get into the next addition to the series.
ReplyDeleteI read Gameboard of the Gods - it's very different from the other Richelle Mead books I've read (VA, Bloodlines and Georgina Kincaid). But It's an interesting read and one that I thought was worthwhile. Hope you have a great summer!
Gameboard' sounds different but I am still excited to see what else she can do. Glad to hear you liked City of Bones. I really liked it as well. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYou know, I've yet to read the Eragon series. My brothers and guy friends tell me I need to lol. I know I should. But there's so many things to read, you know? The Summer I Became A Nerd looks cute!! I'm going to check that one out! Thank you for checking out my TTT list!
ReplyDeleteI know all too well about how many books are out there. My shelves of 1500+ unread books are proof of that! I do recommend checking them out though when you get the chance!
