What I finished reading last week:
Beautiful Creatures
I enjoyed this one. It was a good story and I will continue the series. Review to come.
Tumford's Rude Noises
A young children's book. This book was one I grabbed at the library. Not a bad story, but not a fav. See my review on Goodreads.
I, Minion
An interesting, dark novella. From a skeleton's perspective. Reminded me of 'R' in Warm Bodies but not as humorous. Review here.
Their Baby Miracle
This was an interesting romance. Oddly enough, for the most part I liked the guy more than the woman. This two really go through a tough trial here. As parents, and as individuals. Review to come.
Books I made Progress in:
The Amazing Spider Man Essentials Vol 1
Approximately on page 170
Colour Wielders
Page 114
The Walking Dead-Compendium 2
Page 190
Mythical (Stone Soldiers #1)

Books I want to start reading soon:

Thanks for stopping by! I would love to know what you read last week or what you
plan to read this week. :) Happy Reading Everyone!!
I'm glad you liked Beautiful Creatures! I listened to this one on audiobook and I think i took my issues that I had with the narrator out on the book - but I can't wait to see what happens next in the Castor Chronicles!
ReplyDeleteThat is one reason I do not do audio. Narrator's can ruin the book. Took a seminar once where 4 readers read the same 2 chapters each. It really like a different story each time. I will just read it myself so I can get the most out of a book. That is just me though. I'm picky like that :)
DeleteTumford's Rude Noises makes me laugh :) Adorable book!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous reading week!! The Brunette Librarian's It's Monday, What Are You Reading post
It had it's funny moments :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
You're got a nice mix of books there. I might need to check out some of these once I've whittled down my to-read list a bit.
ReplyDeleteThanks! At least you feel you can whittle yours down. Mine is a lost cause. I add more each year than I get off.
DeleteIve heard good things about Beautiful Creatures but haven't yet read it. Nice mix up of genres there--enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt was fairly good. Not great, but still good. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteA lot of different books this week, I hope you have a great reading week ahead of you,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog & kind regards,
Thanks for the return stop and wishes!
DeleteI read Beautiful Creatures this year, too ... it was one of the books my Not-So-Bebe-Girl Autumn had taken with her to college (or maybe it was one that her dormmate had borrowed when they were visiting). It was pretty darn good! Great reading week for you!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't bad. Not a favorite but I will continue the series. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOoooh, The Walking Dead Compendium! How are you liking it? If I remember correctly this one has some shocking/disturbing events taking place.
ReplyDeleteYea. The first one does too. Very different from the tv series. I like this better except I love Darryl in the tv series. Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteNot familiar with that series...hmm I will have to go look that up. ;)
