It's Monday! 4

What I finished reading last week:

Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1)
 Beautiful Creatures
I enjoyed this one.  It was a good story and I will continue the series.  Review to come.
Tumford's Rude Noises
Tumford's Rude Noises
A young children's book.  This book was one I grabbed at the library.  Not a bad story, but not a fav.  See my review on Goodreads.

I, Minion (The Minion Chronicles, #1)
 I, Minion
An interesting, dark novella.  From a skeleton's perspective.  Reminded me of 'R' in Warm Bodies but not as humorous.  Review here.

Their Baby Miracle
Their Baby Miracle
This was an interesting romance.  Oddly enough, for the most part I liked the guy more than the woman.  This two really go through a tough trial here.  As parents, and as individuals.  Review to come.

Books I made Progress in:

Essential Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1
The Amazing Spider Man Essentials Vol 1

Colour Wielders (Heirs of the Magykal Realm, #1)

  1. I'm glad you liked Beautiful Creatures! I listened to this one on audiobook and I think i took my issues that I had with the narrator out on the book - but I can't wait to see what happens next in the Castor Chronicles!

    1. That is one reason I do not do audio. Narrator's can ruin the book. Took a seminar once where 4 readers read the same 2 chapters each. It really like a different story each time. I will just read it myself so I can get the most out of a book. That is just me though. I'm picky like that :)

  4. You're got a nice mix of books there. I might need to check out some of these once I've whittled down my to-read list a bit.

    1. Thanks! At least you feel you can whittle yours down. Mine is a lost cause. I add more each year than I get off.

  7. I read Beautiful Creatures this year, too ... it was one of the books my Not-So-Bebe-Girl Autumn had taken with her to college (or maybe it was one that her dormmate had borrowed when they were visiting). It was pretty darn good! Great reading week for you!

    1. Yea. The first one does too. Very different from the tv series. I like this better except I love Darryl in the tv series. Thanks for stopping by :)
