Feature and Follow 7

Increase Blog Followers

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read.

What is feature and Follow? A weekly Friday topic (or activity) is given to share and we all take turns blog hopping, leaving comments and following one another.  If someone leaves a comment, be sure to comment back.  If someone follows you, follow them.  Always follow the hosts and the featured blog (see host site for more details).

 This weeks topic:

What book have you not read that seemingly everyone else has?

Well, since only giving 1 seems like a waste of space, I will give you several.  I sorted my Goodreads to-read list based on the number of ratings in has received and though I would share some of the books I have there that have the most ratings.  These are not necessarily the top most of books I want to read.  More like ones I know many people I know in real life have read these too.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

1984 by George Orwell

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo be Stieg Larsson

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

The Host by Stephanie Meyer

Divergent by Veronica Roth

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

The Gunslinger by Stephen King

So, which of these have you read (or want to read yourself)?

How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

Well I look at the first chapter (or 20 pages if the first chapter is longer)

Q:  Where is the best destination reading spot for you? (Where do you like to go to read other then your home)

A:  Out in nature.  A quiet park is fine but getting out into the mountains is best.   Grab a grab a blanket and find a spot by a lake, river, waterfall or something.  Or as the sun starts to set, reading by campfire (so long as you don't let the book get too close to the flames).

Where do you go to reading outside your home?

Heads up to everyone, I currently have TWO GIVEAWAYS going on.  Please be sure to check the links on the top right column(Above GFC followers)!  If you join, be sure to leave a comment letting me know.  I will return the favor of you have any current giveaways (or I will comment on another post if you do not).  Just let me know you joined and send me a link to what you think I should check out :)
