Summary:  "A working-girl romance

In order to help her father, Chiwa Takanashi agrees to an arranged marriage with the company president, Hokuto Mamiya—a man she doesn’t know—at the request of Hokuto’s grandfather. Chiwa believes the arrangement isn’t binding, but her new partner seems to think otherwise. Can two strangers living together find their way to a happy marriage?!

Chiwa Takanashi has married a total stranger—company president Hokuto Mamiya—to get her father out of debt. Hokuto has pledged fidelity to her, but then the tabloids break the news of him dating a famous actress. Though Hokuto has denied having an affair, Chiwa starts confiding her worries to Yu Yagami, a handsome new company recruit. Is the contract they signed the only thing holding their marriage together?"

Review:  This volume picks up right where the first volume leaves off. Chiwa and Hokuto in a new, unknown marriage of circumstance. While the first volume introduces us to the story and characters, this volume goes much more into personality and lifestyle specifics of the newlyweds.

Chiwa learns she is capable of being jealous of her new husband when he spends a large share of time with female clients. She questions herself and him. It doesn't help that Hokuto wants to keep their marriage hush-hush. No wonder though. After all, he IS her boss! Hokuto wonders how to get closer to Chiwa and is learning to balance her and business. He gets some interesting insight to her in this volume and we get some insight into him. We learn he had his own reason for the marriage that may be less than honorable... Yet he seems to genuinely care...

A great story that focuses on human nature, thought and emotions. How Hokuto and Chiwa react to situations can be adorable, frustrating or amusing. Or a mix thereoff. I love looking in and having the extra advantage of seeing both characters sides then seeing how they respond to each other. They still have a long way to go though but they are learning to communicate, however slow it may be in coming!. Definitely a series to continue!
