TGIF WEEKLY 18

T . G. I. F.  Weekly

For those of you who don't know, TGIF Weekly is a Friday post where I share 3 books I have sitting next to me that I want to read soon.  My goal was to always work on at least 1 of these books before the next Friday.
Now YOU decide what book I read first.  Leave a comment saying which book you think I should focus on and next TGIF post I will share a short blurb about what I think of the book. The blurb will only be for the book most voted for in comments.  Plus I will work on pushing the review out that much sooner.    *Please note that if a book is not read one week in may be on the list the following week*

Last weeks top vote:

Gameboard of the Gods (Age of X, #1)

So far, this is a decent book, but it hasn't grabbed me as much yet as Richelle Mead's other books have.  However, I still have a long ways to go and the book still holds potential but I doubt this will be a particular favorite of mine.  Mae is an interesting character thus far.   I wish the beginning did a better job creating the setting.  When I started reading, I wasn't sure what was going on the first few chapters.  Otherwise, not a bad start!

  1. Hmm...none of these ones really appeal to me (I swear to god I must be the only one out there that isn't super into Rachel Caine's series). I get easily distracted by short stories, but the authors listed are pretty awesome, so if you review it and like it I might check it out!

    1. There are popular series that I am not into as well so it is okay :) Sorry none of these struck your fancy. Hopefully some better choices will be up next week.

  2. I would love it if you read Gameboard of the Gods because I'm still a bit iffy as to if I want to read this book because many people have hated it and some have liked it so I would love to read your take on it. Awesome idea for a meme I will have to do that sometime.
