How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?
Well I look at the first chapter (or 20 pages if the first chapter is longer) as my chance sampler, so I might quit then but I do not consider that a DNF. I simply look as that as never having read. I will not review, rate, etc as I didn't give it real chance. Yet I do not do this very often.
Otherwise, once I have started I very rarely DNF. I rarely even quit a series once I get going. I have to finish it all.
*I prefer follows via whatever method they actually read and use. I want to see you come back. :)
So I have some giveaway going on. Here are the entries for the main two I am running. For details, and other giveaways, check out the links in the to right or click the links above each giveaway!

Not bad! I've had a few DNF's usually where I quite about near the halfway...? Not sure really. It all depends, I know I usually give it my all to finish one but there have been a few that I just couldn't forge through.

Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
I think we all have those once in awhile.
DeleteI always follow through on books in case the book gets better. I'm a bloglovin follower.
ReplyDeleteThat is usually me too.
DeleteUsually I will give a book 50-100 pages before I DNF if I'm not enjoying it. I used to power through but I no longer have the time and it turned reading into a chore. There are too many books on my tbr pile for me to feel guilty and I'm picky about what I read, so only have 1 DNF so far!

I so rarely DNF. I am picky about what I read before I do for that very reason though. Like you, my TBR pile is high. Instead of DNFing i am just getting pickier about what gets added in the first place.
DeleteI hate to not finish a book. It does happen occasionally though. I always give it my best effort before giving up.
