Summary:  "Sad at the thought of spending Christmas alone, Kurumi Sagara goes out for a walk. While she's crossing the street, a boy bumps into her, and a rein suddenly appears that binds them together. The overjoyed boy tells her she's his master and that she's a Santa Claus. Kurumi dismisses him as a crazy person, but then he transforms into a reindeer?!

Kurumi and Kaito have remained together for a year, but a Dark Santa appears, intent on breaking the two apart. Kurumi and Kaito's rein is severed, and the Dark Santa takes control of Kaito. Can Kurumi manage to get Kaito back, even when she's still unsure if he's truly happy as her servant?"

This is book 2 of a series!  For more information and my review on book 1 see Sweet rein Vol 1

Review:   This second volume starts during summer. Never thought I would read a book that focuses on reindeer and Santas on the beach. It has been over a year since volume one. This one tests the bond between Kurumi and Kaito.

A dark Santa and his reindeer break the rein that connects the pair and our cute couple are desperate to fix it. It is sad to watch Kurumi nearly giving up. There are a lot of question about th dark pair and only some of the questions seem to get answers but in is an interesting twist.

The other focus is on Kaito's brother Rihito. He does not want a Santa but get one he does. Neither guy is happy about the pairing. Talk about awkward yet so amusing!

Another sweet volume but I still don't see a lot of depth for a series. Luckily it is a short series since the plot is already been done it seems. Love the artwork and really love Kaito's character. He is just too adorable and sweet!
