Rules:
As always-Be Honest. Entries will be
verified-false entries will result in complete disqualification and I do
check. I am in between jobs so time is not an issue. I cannot stand cheating!
Any comments or likes must be made on date
of entry (previous actions do not count). No unliking something to re-like it later!! I keep very detailed
spreadsheets of previous giveaway entries so I do know who has done what
for the most part. So if you previously liked a review I have that listed so no trying to use that for this giveaway!
Also be sure to include your
rafflecopter name or email when you comment if it is different from
your comment name. So I know who you are typically.
Facebook/twitter following and sharing
MUST be done from a legit account. Meaning you have friends/follows and
are active in other activities besides giveaways. The point of
sharing/tweeting is to reach others.
Comments should be meaningful!
For the comment on a review-simple saying "Great review" doesn't fly.
Why is it great? What did you like/not like about it? What do you
think of the book? I need to be able to tell you actually paid
attention to the post for the entry to count.
Be
sure to read what the instructions say for comments. If I ask for a
book Title and author, simple giving me one or the other does not count.
Nor does saying 'I don't know' or similar vague answers.
The chosen winners will have 48 hours to respond once I have emailed them to claim winnings. Second winner will be notified once I have heard from the first drawn name.

my favourite is The lord of the rings by Tolkien but i really prefered the books to the films( too many changes like the spider in the book is an ancient really intelligent creature and she speaks with frodo, in the film she looks stupid; faramir is normaly the epytome of paladin ( courage, loyalty etc)in teh film he is attracted by teh ring like any other while he should be the only one not affected)
ReplyDeletethank you for your generosity!
HEAVY BREATHING... SUCH. AWESOME. PRIZES <3
ReplyDeleteI think it is normal to change stuff from a book to a movie adaptation... like The Maze Runner, so many things changed and kinda the best movie adaptation of the year and one of the best movies of the year...
I love books and movies and all stuff and ... *breathing intensifies* :3
Atonement - I prefer the book
ReplyDeleteTime Travelers Wife--one of the few where I loved both
ReplyDeleteEnders Game and the movie, the movie did a great job with the amount of time it was able to have.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I enjoy the book far better. However I will like a movie adaptation from time to time!
ReplyDeleteMary G Loki
Ender's Game or If I Stay.. they were both so phenomenal and I felt the actors were all well cast and did a great job portraying the characters. Also, many elements of the books were transferred into the movies, which is not always the case.
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer the book, but there are SOME exceptions! Like Bridge to Terebithia? And I think the movie of Mary Poppins is waaaaay better than the book. x)
ReplyDeleteI would so love to win The Hunger Games boxset!!
As of right now my favorite is The Maze Runner. I liked both book and movie.
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games did a pretty good job, in my opinion, even if they left out a few minor characters and I didn't agree with the way Cato died, but the book is always, always better than the movie. I think it's because the story was made to fit in a book, and stretching it to fit a movie distorts the original story.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be Catching Fire. :) I always love seeing movies of the books I've read but I always ended up loving the book more
ReplyDeletei've never liked a movie as much as a book but liked to kill a mockingbird combo
ReplyDeleteLord of the Rings (Movie best) and Harry Potter (Book best) and Stardust (both the same, though they're different)
ReplyDeleteDivergent is my favorite, but of course, I loved the book better.
ReplyDeleteTwilight but definitely the book
ReplyDeletesavewish@yahoo.com
I prefer the movie version of Nick Hornby's HIGH FIDELITY, because I related more to the changes in it (I'm more of an indie rocker like the movie characters), and I love John Cusack and especially Jack Black in it!
ReplyDeleteTrix, vitajex(at)Aol(Dot)com
Harry Potter and I love them both so much!!
ReplyDeleteAshley @The Quiet Concert
Stardust! I loved the comedy added to the movie!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the Beautiful Creatures books, but the movie was awful, in my opinion. The main reason I didn't like it was because it didn't stick to what happened in the book at all. Thanks for the amazing giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteIn general, I usually like the book better than the movie. However, Harry Potter set the bar pretty high in recent years, was pretty impressed.
ReplyDeleteI liked the movie Chocolat much better than the book!
ReplyDeleteInterview with the Vampire and one of the book to movie adaptations where I enjoyed the movie more.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book to movie is Divergent. I have to say I loved the book more because in the movie they did leave out some really good stuff.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite combos is the Harry Potter series. I'm going to admit that I saw some of the movies before I read all the books, so I have a soft spot for the movies. BUT, overall I think I prefer the books.
ReplyDeleteLord of the Rings Trilogy I luv the books & movies. Also luv The Hunger Games books & movies. Thank u for the chance to win. :)
ReplyDeleteI just saw The Maze Runner movie and it was very good. But the book is always the best!
ReplyDeletePride and Prejudice! I love the book with a passion, and also the movie with Keira Knightley. I watch the movie way more times than I re-read the book.
ReplyDeleteUsually I prefer the book more, sometimes I like both equally, and occasionally I like the movie more than the book, for example Stardust.
ReplyDeleteI'll go old school .... I loved the adaptation of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" (Blade Runner)...loved them both!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing giveaway!
My favorite book to movie is actually LOTR! I love anything written by Tolkien, but I think the LOTR books translated nicely to movies.
ReplyDeletePS - Thank you for the amazing giveaway! Fingers crossed!
DeleteIn every case, the book is always better. Too many changes and/or deletions.
ReplyDeleteI felt like The Fault in Our Stars was very nicely transitioned to movie. There weren't many differences and they included everything I felt needed to be included. I still prefer the book though, always do
ReplyDeleteCircle of Friends by Maeve Binchy. I love both the book and the movie.
ReplyDeletepride and prejudice; like both
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved the Lord of the Rings movies and the Hobbit ones now. I think the movies are a lil bit better than the books because you get to see the story unfold onscreen. I think the movies aren't as dark either.
ReplyDeleteThe Devil Wears Prada. Haven't read the book but want to.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is The Hunger Games. I enjoyed both, but as usual I prefer the book. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMary DeBorde (M.A.D.)
ReplyDeleteThe Road and preferred the book to the movie. Am looking forward to seeing Beautiful Creatures and The Maze Runner, too :) for me, it's usually about 50/50 as far as which I typically like better <3
Loved The Hunger Games!! It was perfect. Looking forward to see The Maze Runner.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri along with its film adaptation. I usually enjoy the book version more b/c of the attention to detail. Authors have more time to elaborate.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
Hi, thanks for hosting such an awesome giveaway. Glad to be part of it.
ReplyDeleteMy Sister's Keeper, for sure! I don't even need to think. I love both the movie and the novel. The novel is beautifully written. I enjoy every bit of it. The movie is really well done. I always cry every time watching it. Such a touching and tear jerker story!
My favorites are Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter, I would prefer the Hunger Games set.
ReplyDeleteProbably The Princess Bride. The book and movie are very different, but I really can't choose which one I like best. They're both wonderful!
ReplyDelete--Sissy Gifford
Either the Divergent Series or Percy Jackson!
ReplyDeleteI usually watch the movie and then never read the book, but there are exceptions for some, especially if it's part of a series.
ReplyDeleteMy all time fav is Harry Potter series. I prefer the book version more than the movie version.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is LOTR. I love the books and I definitely wasn't disappointed when I watched the movies. Still like the books more though!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Memoirs of a Geisha. I preferred the book -- as is usually the case!

Lord Of the Rings!
ReplyDeletePride and Prejudice, with Keira. In a way I prefer the movie due to the cast, all of whom I love! But the book is a true classic of course.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite combo is definitely Lord of the Rings. I actually prefer the movies, just because it's a more immersive experience - the cinematography, the music - they just got it so perfect! But I love the books too.
ReplyDeleteI prefer both. I have my eye on the Lord of the Rings combination. The movies definitely lived up to the book hype.
