  4. I'm British so I don't celebrate thanksgiving. I don't know about a "winter" read, but I'd recommend Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh any time of the year.

  6. I'm from Croatia and we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. As for good winter read,I just recently finished My True Love Gave to Me and absolutely loved it.

  10. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here and I don't know a winter related book, but I recomend "Vision In White" by Nora Roberts, it's pretty cute.

  11. I'm from Poland so we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I recommend Lucky Harbor series by Jill Shalvis, her newest book - One in a Million is winter related :)

  12. I'm not really big on Thanksgiving food. I'm totally the odd man out on that one! LOL! I do like having ham, though everyone else prefers the turkey. For some reason I just don't have the tastebuds for it.

    I do like looking for different dessert recipes though! Usually ends up being something peanut butter & chocolatey because those are the best ingredients naturally! ;)

  16. Mashed potatoes and corn. Vegetarian, and Thanksgiving isn't exactly my favorite holiday. It coincides with deer hunting season, so it meant family would come in and give me a hard time about not eating meat.

We have a tradition in our home, regardless of what else is on the Thanksgiving menu we will always have cheesy artichoke squares :) This is an appetizer type dish made with marinated artichokes, cheese, eggs, garlic, onion, and breadcrumbs all mixed together and baked in the oven- YUM Thank you for participating in this fun hop.

  29. I'm from Spain so I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. So I'd recommend Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaria as a winter read, since it's very emotional and beautiful, perfect to read under a blanket and drinking some hot chocolate :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  57. I live in Australia and we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. It's almost Summer here now and each day it's getting hotter. I usually love to sit in front of the fan or pool side and reread my Harry Potter books or if I have a review book then I'll be reading something new. :D

    My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is our big extended family get-together. My mom and one of my aunts are nurses so it tends to be planned around their schedules so it doesn't always fall on the actual day --- this year we're having it the weekend before Thanksgiving! But it's always great fun to catch up with everyone and see how my little cousins have grown and of course, to fill up on amazingly delicious homemade food!

  108. I am from Canada, we invented Thanksgiving and i am part Native. So i celebrate Thanksgiving with a bottle of Wild Turkey in one hand and a drumstick in the other, while wearing the turkey`s feathers on my head.
