Review:
Once again, Erin Kellison impressed me. I cannot sing the praises for this series enough. This world full of fae, angels, Shadows, and wraiths she has beautifully described.   This entire series was my gateway into adult paranormal romance and dark fantasy.

The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. Even Death (AKA Shadowman) is fantastic and personable (in his own way, of course).  This book goes deeper into each and every one.   And as you may guess from the earlier, Shadowman in particular.   It is finally his turn for the spotlight.  This books is filled with  characters from her other books:  Talia, Kathleen, Custo and Adam are all back.   we also get a new addition: Layla.  Why is she lurking around after Talia and Adam?  Her story is heartbreaking yet adds so much depth to this series.

Being this is the end of the series, I do not wish to give things away but the book does a wonderful job wrapping up the story, yet still left me yearning for more when I was finished.    Lots of unexpected turns in the story.  The book starts off a bit slow but once it hit its groove, it was consistently fast-paced. Throughout the entire second half I was unable to put the book down hardly. I just had to know what was to become of these characters as our author keeps us guessing until the near end. Bravo for a great conclusion!

    1. There are a lot of layers but they blend together really well if you start with the first book.
