Just Couldn't Put it Down! July 2015 Giveaway Hop-INTERNATIONAL



I love it when a book just sucks me in and doesn't let go.  While it can kill me energy level staying up late into the night or drive my husband nuts.  Sometimes it is the pace that keeps me going, other times it is the urge to know what is next, and often it the that the book is JUST THAT GREAT!

Here are a few books that have been impossible or really hard to put down (usually work, or passing out). that I have read in the past year for various reasons.  The winner of this giveaway can pick any two of these books to win OR one book of their choice (up to $15) from The book Depository. For these books, if they are part of a series, you can pick any book in the series! OPEN INT!!!

  2. I would probably chose Everbound and A Cold Legacy. Hero by Samantha Young is one of the books that I had a hard time putting down recently. I finished it in one go but at the same time I didn't want it to end

  3. I’d choose A Cold Legacy — I really loved that book and need to have copy on my shelves :) But I would also maybe choose Fairest because I don’t own that and want to read it!

  7. If I win, I would pick Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire new cover version from TBD. This book was one of the books I couldn't put down. The most recent book I couldn't put down was The Vanishing Girl by Laura Thalassa. I started reading it last week & it only took me two days to finish. Thanks :)

  9. I'd pick Megan Shepherd's 'A Cold Legacy' if I win. Also, I would recommend Patrick Ness's works including the 'Chaos Walking Trilogy', since that was one of the set of brilliant works I have engrossed myself with.

  10. I read all of the books listed above and I agree with you! I think I would choose to pre-order Six of Crows or buy Every Last Word from TBD ;) The last book I couldn't put down was Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang!

  11. if i were lucky enough to win, i would pick City of fallen angels and City of heavenly Fire , Mortal instruments book 4 and 6 as they are teh only ones i'm missing in that series by cassandra Clare

    books i had difficulty to put down recently? written in red by anne bishop ( terribly tempted to pick book 2 in this series instead) and in another genre seal of honor by tonya burrows

  12. I would choose In The Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken and I couldn't put down an Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir! I was pleasantly surprised with how great is was.

I have been trying to save to buy all or any of Amy Bartol's book for a while now and no luck. :( The last book I couldn't put down was an arc of Until We Meet Again by Renee Collins. It was wonderful. I was lucky to have gotten to read that one. Thank you.

I couldn't put down The Heir either (which was sort of a problem since I read it during the school week and was yelling at my neighbors in the dorms to be quiet, which is okay since they love me and I am living with them next year, but still)!   31. The last book I couldn't put down was The Girl on The Train. The whole time it was screaming for me to read more and more of its pages! :]

    I would choose the $15 and order The Martian by Andy Weir. Can't find any copy in a bookstore, so I have to buy it via TBD. Want to read it soooo badly!

  54. I've been wanting to read The Heir by Kiera Cass, but I honestly don't have a clue as to which other book I would also pick. A book I had a hard time putting down would be To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han (and Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard... I needed to add that ^-^). Therefore, if I chose the $15 for TBD, I would *probably* choose P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han, sequel to To All The Boys. Thank you!

I would choose Memoirs of a Geisha because it's a classic I've been wanting to read for some time now and City of Heavenly Fire since I'm a huge fan of the Mortal Instrument series. A book I thought was "unputdownable" (we should coin that word jeje) was A Court of Thornes and Roses. Thanks again!

  99. I'd probably share with my daughter, and I know she'd choose something by Kiera Cass. I received an ARC of Billy Coffey's newest, The Curse of Crow Hollow, and it took all of my self-control last night to put it down and go to bed. But I really want to be able to analyze it as I go :)
