So this is my first time joining the Wishlist Wednesday Blog Hop.
For me, I am using this to share with you books I want to get my hands on that are on my Wishlist.
Normally I keep all my wishlist books on Goodreads. However a few family members have mentioned an Amazon wishlist so they can easily buy me what I want. So I figure I would have both. What can I say, I have a weird compulsion for lists. Anyone who knows me well can attest to that fact.
For the most part, these will be books already published (or will be published VERY soon). So my list here is practical. However, like all things in life, what I want and what I can get are two different things. Usually it is finances that say NO. Yet I will share these with you. Who knows, maybe you might find a new treasure to add to your own list.
So for this week I will be sharing:
"This is the story of the small town sheriff who captured one of the world's most ruthless and cunning murderers.
It all started with Dead Girl #1 and Dead Girl #2, the first killings in the sleepy town of Lobo's Nod in decades. Two murders: just a coincidence, or something more sinister? One thing's for sure -- it was definitely inconvenient in a year when Sheriff G. William Tanner, a mourning widower, had to run for reelection.
With a trail gone cold, it's only luck that links the murders to the most notorious serial killer in memory. And in a town like Lobo's Nod, the killer must be someone Tanner already knows...."

I actually read Barry Lyga's first book in the series, I Hunt killers and really enjoyed it. So I figured reading a short prequel would be a lot of fun. I almost bought a few hours ago since it is a cheap ebook but sadly some unwanted bills also came in so this is on hold for the time being. So since it is fresh on my mind, it is the first book I get to share with you from my wishlist.
Do you have a book wishlist? Any particular sites you like to use for wishlists? Links to wishlists or just share a book you are wanting are also welcome!

Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that are eagerly anticipated by the blogger.
This weeks waiting:
Nearly twenty years ago,
Robin Hobb burst upon the fantasy scene with the first of her acclaimed
Farseer novels, Assassin’s Apprentice, which introduced the characters
of FitzChivalry Farseer and his uncanny friend the Fool. A watershed
moment in modern fantasy, this novel—and those that followed—broke
exciting new ground in a beloved genre. Together with George R. R.
Martin, Robin Hobb helped pave the way for such talented new voices as
Scott Lynch, Brandon Sanderson, and Naomi Novik.
Over the years, Hobb’s imagination has soared throughout the mythic lands of the Six Duchies in such bestselling series as the Liveship Traders Trilogy and the Rain Wilds Chronicles. But no matter how far she roamed, her heart always remained with Fitz. And now, at last, she has come home, with an astonishing new novel that opens a dark and gripping chapter in the Farseer saga.
FitzChivalry—royal bastard and former king’s assassin—has left his life of intrigue behind. As far as the rest of the world knows, FitzChivalry Farseer is dead and buried. Masquerading as Tom Badgerlock, Fitz is now married to his childhood sweetheart, Molly, and leading the quiet life of a country squire.
Though Fitz is haunted by the disappearance of the Fool, who did so much to shape Fitz into the man he has become, such private hurts are put aside in the business of daily life, at least until the appearance of menacing, pale-skinned strangers casts a sinister shadow over Fitz’s past . . . and his future.
Now, to protect his new life, the former assassin must once again take up his old one. . . .
