T.G.I.F. Weekly 15

T . G. I. F.  Weekly

For those of you who don't know, TGIF Weekly is a Friday post where I share 3 books I have sitting next to me that I want to read soon.  My goal was to always work on at least 1 of these books before the next Friday.
Now YOU decide what book I read first.  Leave a comment saying which book you think I should focus on and next TGIF post I will share a short blurb about what I think of the book. The blurb will only be for the book most voted for in comments.  Plus I will work on pushing the review out that much sooner.    *Please note that if a book is not read one week in may be on the list the following week*

Last weeks top vote:

Vampire Knight, Vol. 12Vampire Academy 12!

It actually tied but I was not going to push two books so Fate (also known as the coin from my penny jar) decided.

This series has been a bit of a roller coaster.  It started off really good and strong, then started getting wishy-washy with some good chapters and some horrible chapters.  This volume seems to be trying to redeem the series.  I got to also learn a big secret the headmaster has been hiding and a new pureblood has entered the scene.  Look out for my review later this weekend!

Storm Born (Dark Swan, #1)
Just typical. No love life to speak of for months, then all at once, every horny creature in the Otherworld wants to get in your pants. . .

Eugenie Markham is a powerful shaman who does a brisk trade banishing spirits and fey who cross into the mortal world. Mercenary, yes, but a girl's got to eat. Her most recent case, however, is enough to ruin her appetite. Hired to find a teenager who has been taken to the Otherworld, Eugenie comes face to face with a startling prophecy—one that uncovers dark secrets about her past and claims that Eugenie's first-born will threaten the future of the world as she knows it.

Now Eugenie is a hot target for every ambitious demon and Otherworldy ne'er-do-well, and the ones who don't want to knock her up want her dead. Eugenie handles a Glock as smoothly as she wields a wand, but she needs some formidable allies for a job like this. She finds them in Dorian, a seductive fairy king with a taste for bondage, and Kiyo, a gorgeous shape-shifter who redefines animal attraction. But with enemies growing bolder and time running out, Eugenie realizes that the greatest danger is yet to come, and it lies in the dark powers that are stirring to life within her...
