Stacking the Shelves 15

STSmall_thumb[2]
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, every Weekend.

This is to share books I have acquired from various sources.  Physical books & ebooks both are welcome. If its something being sent to me by mail, I will not mention it until I actually receive it.

Heads up to everyone, I currently have TWO GIVEAWAYS going on.  Please be sure to check the links on the top right column(Above GFC followers)!

Also, be sure to stop by Friday's TGIF post and vote for what you want to see reviewed soon.  Also, vote on the right for what books I need to bump up my reading list for the following weeks.

  1. I love Kindle Freebies, though I haven't had much time to read any of the ones I've downloaded. Too busy reviewing and reading stuff from the library. :)

    1. Hehe... yea it can be easy to build them up. I have temporarily excused myself since I have only had a kindle a year so my collection isn't too bad yet.

  2. OOOh very nice! Lots of these are new to me! Except for Richelle Mead's Dark Swan! It was an enjoyable series, but not too many people were happy with the series ending. Hope you enjoy it though!

My STS will be up tomorrow so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    1. Thanks! Just started it but I loved the Graphic novel and I heard the book was better. I think some had a hard time her going from YA to adult.

  5. I snagged Razor's Edge as well. Read Cryptonomicon years ago - a long, slow read, but a fascinating one.

    1. Cryponomicon is a good size book. I haven't read Martha Wells before so I hope she does a good job with Razor's Edge.

  8. I've heard lots of great things about The Returned by Jason Mott although I'm resisting the temptation to request it on netgalley due to my overflowing TBR pile. Hope you enjoy it!

  16. Hi, there!

Oh, WOW. What a NICE collection you have here!! All of these books are entirely new to me, too! I see that yo have one STAR WARS novel, which I'm very happy about, since I'm a die-hard science fiction fan. I'll definitely investigate further!

As for the e-books, I need to find out if any of them are also available in print, since I do not read e-books. AT. ALL. Can't STAND them!! Give me a printed book any day!!

Anyway, CONGRATS on your haul, which I hope you enjoy! And thanks for visiting and commenting on my "Stacking The Shelves" post!! : )

    1. I love Sci-fi! Star Wars especially.

I'm not an ebook fan myself, however I find myself using them more and more. But I am with you about a good old print book any day! :)

      Thanks for the return visit.

  17. I've never read anything by Neal Stephenson, but I've been seeing his name around a lot in the last couple of weeks. I might have to check him out.

    1. I have never read him either but the books sound good. Especially Cryptonomicon, although it is a BIG book. 900 pages, small, single space print and hardly any margin. So I am equally intrigued and intimidated.
