im lucky i have found/read dark inside and the sequel rage within by jeyn roberts, i think i was browsing on goodreads or the library (i dont remember) when i saw the first book and it sounded really interesting, exactly what i like in books (these books are apocalypse,survival, i love this type of books) so i picked up the books and read them and love them!! i have other series that are like this, that i found on the library and sounded interesting and i read them and really like them :) thank you for this chance

I'm going to say one that others haven't seemed to enjoy (if Amazon reviews are anything to go by) but I loved. I'm lucky to have read The Fire Children by Lauren Roy.
It's a very visual read, and I actually can't get the image of a guy made of fire out of my head, and I read it months ago.

ReplyDeleteLes Roberts mysteries including The Irish Sports Pages. I especially like his PI, Milan Jocovich, who isn't perfect and that many of his stories have Cleveland, Ohio and surrounding communities as the settings.
ReplyDeleteRebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton was a book I was lucky enough to receive as an arc and I fell in love!! It seemed like an average book at first, but it quickly picked up pace and complexity, especially near the end. I can't wait for the next!

I picked up Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Mayberry on a whim; I had forgotten to bring a book to read on my lunch break so I bought it on lunch to have something to read. I ended up loving it and reading the entire series. I had the chance to meet Jonathan Mayberry a few months later, so that made it extra special.
