    Dracula by Bram Stoker and Coraline by Neil Gaiman .. may sound silly but it always gives me goosebumps thinking about the woman who wanted to sew buttons over Coraline’s eyes!

    oh both are from the same author:
    Soul avenged by keri lake and soul ressurected by keri lake ( book 1 and 2 of a series) it gets darker with each book so i'm not sure i could read book 3 as book 2 really unsettled me but at teh same time it's so, so tempting!

    I read IT by Stephen King when I was a kid. Other than that, I haven't read a lot of truly scary books. But The Hallowed Ones by Laura Bickle was creepy!

    It by Stephen King , I'm terrified of clowns so it was hard getting through that book and the most recent wasn't really scary but it was very spooky was The Half Killed by Quenby Olson the author really made you feel that book, amazing !

    The Tommyknockers by Stephen King. I know it's not traditionally thought of as scary but it terrified me.

    Also, the trilogy The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara. Again, not traditionally scary but it also terrified me.

    I think a pretty spooky read would have to be the gone series by Michael Grant. It isn't horror but it does get gruesome in some parts, especially during the book Plague.

    One of the scariest books I've ever read is Turn of the Screw by Henry James. Another is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Both of these are books that scared me the first time I read them, and continue to scare me every time I reread them.

    I don't find any books or even movies scary actually... Guess that's why I never see nightmares as well (or I guess I do, I just always find a fault or know that I'm in control, so they're not scary as well). I'll just say The Devouring books by Simon Holt. They had some gore and I'm a bit sensitive to that stuff :)

    Honestly, I rarely read horror books, but I'd have to go with Dracula and Frankenstein! They were both creepy but interesting :) Thanks so much for the giveaway!

    I typically stay away from scary books, but I did think that A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray and Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas were sort of spooky.
