  4. oh both are from the same author:
    Soul avenged by keri lake and soul ressurected by keri lake ( book 1 and 2 of a series) it gets darker with each book so i'm not sure i could read book 3 as book 2 really unsettled me but at teh same time it's so, so tempting!

  9. I read IT by Stephen King when I was a kid. Other than that, I haven't read a lot of truly scary books. But The Hallowed Ones by Laura Bickle was creepy!

  11. It by Stephen King , I'm terrified of clowns so it was hard getting through that book and the most recent wasn't really scary but it was very spooky was The Half Killed by Quenby Olson the author really made you feel that book, amazing !

    Also, the trilogy The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara. Again, not traditionally scary but it also terrified me.

Guess that's why I never see nightmares as well (or I guess I do, I just always find a fault or know that I'm in control, so they're not scary as well). I'll just say The Devouring books by Simon Holt. They had some gore and I'm a bit sensitive to that stuff :)
