ReplyDeletethe best romantic gift was when my husband surprised me with tickets to a football game. I didn't have a clue. He drove me about 45mins away because we was going to watch "Mockingjay" in a neighboring city. I didn't think nothing of it, because we do this about 1-2x/yr, but he told me to pull out the tickets to see what time the movie starts, and bam! football tickets to see the Crimson Tide during homecoming. Truly was amazing <3

ReplyDeleteI like giving my husband a naughty poem that I wrote - it is usually dreadful. But I write it on the back of a postcard that features some fuzzy animal. That way he can pin it up at work (where the animal is visible) and only he knows what is on the reverse side. It makes him smile.

I think the best romantic gifts are ones that aren't necessarily romantic. The ones that show how well a person knows you. Granted, two exes have each bought me red panda stuffed animals, so I guess it can lead to repetitive gifts, but I still love each plush!
